Welcome to #StephTok

I am a new growth specialist for the creative industries. I identify, connect and impact new growth opportunities for my clients’ audiences.

I partner with brand clients who need to understand their real audiences, agency clients who need to generate new audiences, and all those looking beyond the usual growth strategies, for revenue and sustainable societal impact.

Over the last twenty years, I’ve built a global career portfolio across client side, media owner and agency, specialising in strategic business growth, commercial audience insight and purpose marketing.  

At the social impact consultancy Creative Equals, I partnered with Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 brands, including Philips, Mars, Walgreens, Diageo and Aviva on business and culture change transformation. Prior to this, I was a global advertising executive, developing brand and marcomms strategies at the Virgin Group, and the RAC, and award winning advertising insight programmes at Channel 4, ITV, and News Corp.

I drive industry growth at the grass roots level, where I pay it forward for the next generation, as a former President and Non Executive Director for Bloom UK, and am active in mentoring programmes for Stonewall, Media Trust and BelEve

Having made the semi-finals of Penguin’s Write Now competition in 2020, I am still trying to birth my book baby. When I am not writing my book, I write op-eds, long form and short form articles, and deliver keynote speeches.
